How does Hypnotherapy
WORK
Hypnotherapy may provide a wide range of physical, behavioural and psychological benefits. During hypnotherapy, the therapist induces a trance like state through various relaxation techniques. The person in this state of mind is deeply relaxed and has a hieghtened level of awareness.
It is important to know that while under hypnosis, the individual is not unconsious, rather more alert and will remember everything that happens during the session.
While under hypnosis, the individual becomes more open to positive suggestions and guidance. The will to change patterns or make positive changes from within itself is a great step towards the right path.
Also know that unlike the negative portrayal of hypnotherapy for entertainment purposes, the therapist CANNOT control the mind of the individual who is under hypnosis.
